Authorized connection

A Solartag must be connected by an authorized electrician. You can choose our partner or someone you know who is authorized. NOTE: If you purchase a Xolta battery, the electrician must be authorized for Xolta products. Below you can see our partners who also have Xolta authorization. If you want to use your own, they can be certified by Xolta after a one-day course. These authorization courses are held regularly at Xolta at no charge.

Who is installing your Solartag?

The simple design and screwless brackets make installing a Solartag quick and easy. This is regardless of whether you choose to do it yourself or leave the task to a professional. We are ready with advice and support, so that you reach your goal safely and smoothly. Only the electrical installation must be carried out by an authorized electrician, which we also recommend if you need it.

Resource saving return policy

At Solartag we have a return policy so that you can return any excess materials. In this way, we minimize resource consumption and construction economics for the benefit of the environment and customers. Read about our return policy in our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery.

Is there asbestos in your roof?

Many of our customers are replacing an asbestos roof, which typically dates from the 1950s until 1984, when asbestos was banned. Some carpentry companies also offer asbestos removal as part of the contract. However, asbestos management requires special legal measures. Therefore, it is more expensive to remove a roof with asbestos compared to other roof types without asbestos. It is important to clarify whether there is asbestos in the roof before the task is initiated.

Green loans for green transition

Many banks provide green loans for energy-optimizing initiatives, of which solar cells on the roof are also a part. A Green Loan typically has a low interest rate and no loan costs. Ask your bank if they offer a Green Loan.
