Inverters

On this page you can read about inverters that convert the direct current from solar cells into alternating current, which can be used in your home.

What is an inverter?

An inverter is the “engine” that converts the direct current produced by solar cells into alternating current that you can use in your electrical panel and then into your sockets. Without an inverter, you cannot use the power that your solar cells produce. The size of your inverter must match the production from the solar cells – we will of course advise you on this.

We sell inverters from Fronius and Solplanet. However, if you have specific requests for another brand, our inverter can be removed from our offer. A Solartag can work with all inverters approved for use in Denmark.

Tailored to your needs - now and in the future

When we offer a quotation for Solartag, it always includes a 3-phase inverter, which is adapted to the size of the Solartag. We always recommend that a 3-phase inverter is used, so that the production can be distributed across the 3 phases in the house.

Please note that if the inverter is to power a battery solution, a charging solution for an electric car or emergency power, it must be a hybrid inverter. It is therefore important that you consider your choice carefully, also in view of future needs.
