The partnership means that Planet Huse’s customers can now choose a Solartag as a natural part of their new holiday or leisure home — a roof that both produces renewable energy and preserves a classic, clean architectural expression.
“We are very pleased with our collaboration with Planet Huse, who share our ambition to combine clean design with renewable energy. When solar cells become a natural and discreet part of the roof, it strengthens the architecture and reduces the building’s climate footprint over its lifetime,” says Mikkel Karlsson, CEO of Solartag ApS.
The collaboration is already underway — Planet Huse’s sales team has completed Solartag’s training academy, enabling them to advise customers on the solution and its advantages — both aesthetically and in terms of energy production. For Solartag, the agreement is an important step in its strategy to make integrated solar roofs a natural part of new builds in Denmark.
“At Planet Huse, we aim to offer holiday and leisure homes where design, quality, and climate impact go hand in hand. The collaboration with Solartag gives us the opportunity to offer a clean, elegant roof that also produces renewable energy, without compromising the architecture, neighbours, or surroundings,” says Dan A. Due Nielsen, CEO of Planet Huse A/S.
The first Solartag roofs for Planet Huse have been ordered and will be installed in the first half of 2026.
