Glostrup Stationspark is a flagship example of future-forward urban development – a place where modern design and sustainable energy go hand in hand.
Developed by CapMan and built by Hovedstadens Byggeentreprise in close collaboration with WERK Architects, the project demonstrates how solar integration can elevate both function and form.
Instead of mounting conventional solar panels, the project uses 7,500 m² of fully integrated Solartag modules as the actual roofing material. With a peak output of 750,000 watts and an expected annual yield of around 589,000 kWh, the roof significantly supports the building’s energy needs.
Visually, the matte black Solartag tiles blend seamlessly with the architecture, meeting even the most demanding aesthetic and reflection standards.
The carbon footprint of the installation is offset within just five years – making this a bold and beautiful statement of climate friendly urban living in Denmark.
