The provost in Taastrup chose green

“The Rønnevang Church’s provost’s office was previously located in a decentralized location, which is why we chose to build a new provost’s office directly adjacent to the church. Our client’s advisor recommended Solartag as a solution that aesthetically fits the new building. We have applied to Radius for permission to connect the provost’s office with the church, so that the solar cell production can also be used in the church, which, in connection with church activities, has a higher consumption than the provost’s office.

When we chose Solartag as the roofing material, it was a very clear and conscious decision to consider sustainability and self-sufficiency in the project. When making a decision about green transition, it should not be about which fund pays what and who benefits. It is a green decision that benefits the community. We have been very happy with the finished result and think that the craftsmen have done a really nice job.”

All-in on green thoughts

“We produce 2/3 more than what the two buildings need, and therefore it is only good that our surplus can go back to the electricity grid. We are slowly getting ready and will finish with an area in front with wild flowers, so that we can also benefit biodiversity.”
