FROM SLATE ASBESTOS TO SLATE-LIKE SOLAR CELLS

“Our beautiful old house needed a new roof, as the old slate asbestos roof was leaking. So we first looked at real slate, but it would cost 2 million. Then we found
We found Solar roofing online and thought that, with its slate-like appearance, it could be a good alternative. So initially, we weren’t actually looking at solar roofs. But it’s an extra bonus that solar cells over time help pay for the roof. We had most of the load-bearing structure replaced due to rot, and a big advantage of the Solar roof is that it’s a lightweight roof. We contacted Solar roofing and got the right advice, so we were super satisfied. The task itself required a lot of coordination, also as the “project manager” on my own house. We chose a local craftsman for the sake of distance and travel. He handles all the craftsmanship tasks at Knuthenborg Safari Park. Our 10 kW Xolta battery was also installed by a local electrician.”

EVERYTHING THAT CAN RUN ON ELECTRICITY SHOULD RUN ON ELECTRICITY

“Holiday guests from Bandholm Hotels often stop by during the summer season and ask about our roof. It’s fun to see their reaction, because not many guess that it’s a solar panel roof. Our neighbors have also been very impressed.
